Of course, solar panels are made from glass. So, I would think that glass does not go down very well in collisions!
Also, vehicles with solar panels will obviously require sunshine. something that we are short of in the “Northern Hemisphere.” However, solar energy storage systems are now popular among domestic owners of solar panels. So, it will be a great idea to help with the charging of the “solar energy storage batteries” that power the cars.
