How Long does Your Phone battery Last

I think that I am fortunate to be of the age when I do not use a mobile phone religiously. I do have the old type phone, sentimentally know as a “brick”. This I use in my delivery van to phone customers in case I cant find where they live.

The phone is also there in case of an emergency! Either at work or at home. Fortunately, I have not had to use the phone for this reason!

Other than a few of us oldies then your phone is an important part of your day-to-day life. Of course and so is the battery that keeps it going. Have you ever wondered how the battery in your phone works and why it isn’t as good as it used to be?

Lithium battery in your phone

Well, in case you don’t know it then the Phone battery is a lithium-ion battery. Mobile phones are only small and so is the battery. Hence, being small, lightweight, and packed with a lot of disposable power.

Lithium-ion batteries are also stable and can keep their charge for a long time when not in use. This makes them the best choice for powering your phone.

New and updated phones are constantly been developed. Better this and better that is always coming from the phone adverts on TV. However,

you may have noticed that your phone battery life has gotten shorter over time. Incidentally, and that it doesn’t hold a charge as long as it used to. Your phone could also be running too hot. Which would hurt how well it works overall.

So, why does your phone get so hot?

Of course electricity is the answer. Your phone is always moving electricity. If you take my family for instance. They are all forever with their heads looking at things on the mobile phone.. Many things attract them to this.

Including whether you’re playing a game with 3D graphics, using a virtual reality chat, or installing the latest OS update. It gets hotter the more electricity it moves, which can hurt the life of your phone’s battery.

Also, when your phone processes data, it makes heat. As electrons move and change places in the silicon and circuit boards of your phone, it makes more heat as it does more processing. Importantly, heat can affect how well your phone works and consequently, how long its battery lasts.

In conclusion, if you want to get the most out of your phone, you need to know what affects its battery life. By doing these things, you can make sure that the battery on your phone lasts longer and works better.
