I can certainly recommend this excellent battery simply because its in the Exide range. This particular Exide battery is fitted with side terminals to fit many American cars. Including some types of sport cars.American cars became popular in the UK when American airbases were set up. Consequently the airmen would bring over their favourite car to drive bout in while stationed here.Thousands of these vehicles are still here in the UK. Many of the American car models require replacement side terminals. The Exide EB558 provides this side terminals facility.
