As many of my blog readers will know by now then I am an early riser. Especially in summer when days are long here in the UK. Rising at 4:30 am, I always look at the online sales for the evening just gone.
Happily, I noticed that we had sold 4 x Quality Exide leisure batteries to an address in Whitby. I looked out of the window, the sun was shining, so I thought that this was a job for me.
These batteries were very heavy so they would have had to gone by pallet taking two or three days to get there. After visiting our depot to collect the stock, I set off to Whitby.
Even at 6am the roads were getting very busy, although time was of no real importance, I had all morning to get to the captivating coastal town of Whitby in North Yorkshire.
Yorkshire is the largest county in the UK. However we have been well left behind when it comes to motorways. Most of the population lives in the west Yorkshire towns and cities such as Leeds and Bradford.
Yorkshires coast is straddled by beautiful towns with quant harbours and are a must to see. Ironically, we do not have one motorway taking us from the cities to the coast.
The A64 is the main route with the astonishing views of the rolling hills and curves of the roadways make traversing there such a fulfilling experience for the visitors.

Of course, which make it a favourite travel destination. Especially for motorhomes, campervans and caravans.
Happily, I noticed that we had sold 4 x Quality Exide leisure batteries to an address in Whitby as well as “Goods to my customers, I can’t help but take in the sights and sounds of this unique region.”
The traffic around York ring-road was becoming a nightmare. Road traffic in North Yorkshire is inescapable on occasions. Although I always enjoy driving through the beautiful countryside to Whitby.
Every trip, I’m in awe of the Whitby Abbey ruins, the ancient harbour and the narrow roads of the town. Every time I deliver goods to my customers, I take in the sights and noises of this remarkable area. When I hand over Exide leisure batteries to their new owners, I am reminded of how dependable they are when providing power to recreational vehicles.
