Overall, VRLA batteries are a good invention because they offer a reliable and low-maintenance power source that is suitable for a wide range of applications.
VRLA batteries are constructed differently! In an AGM, the electrolyte is suspended in a fibreglass mat. Gel batteries are similar, but the electrolyte is suspended in a gel material. So, one of the benefits of VRLA batteries is that they can be completely sealed and mounted in any position.
