Sadly, since I wrote this article my dear wife of over forty years has been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND). Michelle is now wheelchair bound but is in high sprits at the moment . Family and friends have been very kind and comforting. I personally are struggling to find any reason why this dreadful illness has affected such a wonderful mother of our eight children and five grand children.

This is one of heart rendering stories that pulls at you heart strings. As a result of being diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease and given 2-5 years to live.

Jason was having none of that. He was a keen skier and kept himself very fit until this dreadful disease struck him and he became wheelchair bound.
Jason outlived his predicted prognosis. So he decided to set himself a new goal in life. Of course he thought anything was still possible. Consequently, he decided to go for the new world Wheelchair Speed Record Attempt.

Including fast cars and motorcycles. As a result he has managed to involve a company called Indra. Helping to design and build the battery operated electric wheelchair that would be capable of reaching speeds of 55 MPH . Thus breaking the old world record. So, his ultimate aim is to be in the Guinness World Record book. Hence for the Wheelchair Speed Record Attempt.
